I could have listened to this family sing these lyrics all day long. Not only did mama and dad's sweet voices make me smile, but their beautiful daughter as well. A smile that instantly filled my emotional heart. A smile so big that it's corners almost made it to her sparkling blue eyes. She's one lucky girl, with parent's that love her more than the world.

This recent family photography session has easily become one of my favorites. From the moment I walked up the driveway, I knew it was going to be something special. From two, to three, this family has nothing short of an extraordinary love. xo

Everyone, meet Ryan June. Born on May 12th at 3:10pm, she was welcomed into the world weighing 6 pounds 11 ounces and was 20 inches long. She was a dream during her lifestyle newborn photography session. And this family's home, holy moly, I was in heaven! One lucky duck I am.

She is deeply loved by her older sister, Lila. Together they have so many adventures in store. I can't wait to be a part of them. xo

Happy Mother's Day | Fort Collins Family Photography

To all of you lovely mama's out there, I want to wish you a beautiful Mother's Day. You deserve all the hugs, kisses, flowers, and giggles in the world. I hope you are spoiled on your day. As many of you mamas may know, I'm completely baby c-r-a-z-y. I dream about having my own children one day. I am patiently waiting (my husband may disagree, haha) for that special day to come, but when it does, I know I will be on top of the world. So until then, I live through each of you and your gorgeous daily lives as mamas, hoping to document that timeless beauty for you. I cherish you, and your babies. 'Someday' by Alison McGhee and Peter Reynolds is one of my absolute favorite children's books. My own gorgeous mama gifted me this book not long ago, making it even more special. I owe all I know as a daughter and wife to her, she's the best. If you haven't read this book already, I've shared it's story below. Grab the tissues sweetheart, you're going to need them. Someday

One day I counted your fingers and kissed each one. One day the first snowflakes fell, and I held you up and watched them melt on your baby skin. One day we crossed the street, and you held my hand tight.

Then, you were my baby, and now you are my child. Sometimes, when you sleep, I watch you dream, and I dream too... That someday you will dive into the cool, clear water of a lake. Someday you will walk into a deep wood. Someday your eyes will be filled with a joy so deep that they shine. Someday you will run so fast and so far your heart will feel like fire. Someday you will swing high - so high, higher than you ever dared to swing. Someday you will hear something so sad that you will fold up with sorrow. Someday you will call a song to the wind, and the wind will carry your song away. Someday I will stand on this porch and watch your arms waving to me until I no longer see you. Someday you will look at this house and wonder how something that feels so big can look so small. Someday you will feel a small weight against your strong back. Someday I will watch you brushing your child's hair. Someday, a long time from now, your own hair will glow silver in the sun. And when that day comes, love, you will remember me.

Imogen + Xavier | Boulder Baby Photographers

After this family's gorgeous maternity photography session, I anxiously awaited the day I would be able to meet these two little ones. TWINS! Their lifestyle newborn session had me dancing on my tip toes! I walked through the doors of their beautiful Boulder home to meet a very happy big sister! She was all grins, ready to share all about her new babies (she's going to be the best big sister ever!). Meet Imogen and Xavier, born on February 24th, 2016.  Sweet baby girl, Imogen was born at 12:30pm. Baby boy, Xavier quickly followed, born at 12:33pm. Both absolutely perfect, every little bitty detail. I am so excited to document this amazing family throughout their first year as a family of 5. It's going to be an amazing year!

Alden Darrow | Fort Collins Baby Photographers

This newborn photography session, oh dear, I could jump up and down with excitement Actually, I already have many times ;). I absolutely loved this baby session, loved getting to know this wonderful couple, and loved getting to meet their little man. World, welcome Alden Darrow. Born on February 16th, 2016 weighing 7lbs 10oz and 20in long, he's got it all. He is perfect. I traveled to this beautiful Boulder home and was welcomed with open arms. One of the many perks of being a Colorado newborn photographer is being able to travel to your home to photograph your session. Something about walking through those doors to eyes sparkling (even with lack of sleep), smiles huge, and your little addition in your arms, it's magical. And it get's my heart every time. I just might cry, so grab the tissues before I arrive.

I cannot wait to watch this family grow, and continue to document their sweet life full of joy. xo
