Emma girl, you had me at the hair. And if you know me, you know hair on brand new babes is like a jealous dream come true for me. I think it may be because I went an unacceptable time without it as a baby. With every baby I photograph that has hair, I swear a piece of my newborn self grows back some confidence. And for those adorable newborn's that don't yet have hair, I promise you, I know the feeling, and their is hope. You are all perfect, just how God made you. 

I traveled to Denver for this sweet Newborn Photography session, and was so thrilled to meet this gorgeous family. They are picture-perfect, like a dream come true. They were so welcoming, so thoughtful, so loving of their newest addition. They made my job as a Denver Lifestyle Photographer so easy, and I fell so in love with them. We chatted about life, we loved on little Emma (myself included!), we all had a dance party with the dogs, our morning was wonderful. I love them, and I can't wait to hug on them all again. xo

Rothones | Fort Collins Lifestyle Photographer

This is home. I'm not sure what it was about this lifestyle photography session, but I fell so deeply in love with this family. Maybe it was simply this furry man that reminded me of my own Golden Retriever. Or maybe that I dream of him with my own three (or four) children one day cuddling on the couch just like this. Maybe it was the huge smile this gorgeous mama had on her face every time she looked at her babies. Maybe it was that this dad works with my husband, and they couldn't be more crazy alike. It could have quite possibly been that that bouncy messy bun is just pure happiness. Or I think maybe it was just them, being them. It all made my heart flutter. I felt like I photographed just what I hope my future to look like. What I dream of for our family one day. I believe that God always has a plan. He has a map of who I will meet along this photography journey, all with a story to share with me, to help me become me. He knew I needed this family. They are beautiful, and God is great. xo

Ellene | Newborn Photography Fort Collins

When I recently walked up the sidewalk to this family's beautiful Fort Collins home, I was stopped by large chalk drawings. A huge smile came across my face. In a mix of scribbles, flowers, and rainbows, beside a large stick figure in pink, was a smaller stick figure in yellow. Baby Ellene. She was home, and her older sister wanted everyone to know.

I've never seen any other little ones more excited to share their new baby. These two, Ivy and Landon, couldn't be more thrilled to welcome their little sister home. They have kisses galore, always whispering and touching her gently. Big sister loves sharing her bows, and big brother giggles at her every sound. Little Ellene, you have the best older siblings, and they couldn't be happier to share their little lives with you.

This family of five is now complete, and I couldn't be happier for them. xo

Joseph | Northern Colorado Baby Photographer

"Endless hope and endless joy started with a Baby Boy."

Going to this Fort Collins home, I knew I would be greeted by a new mother and father, with a new baby. However, walking into this gorgeous home, I was welcomed by big smiles, bursting hearts, and a sweet sleepy baby boy. As I have mentioned before, there is nothing like walking through the door of a family with a new member.

As I walked into their home, on their wall I couldn't help but notice a gorgeous wedding photo of this happy couple, in the exact place my husband and I got married. I instantly knew I loved this family. Married only a few weeks prior to us, we chatted all about our special day at the Della Terra Mountain Chateau. Like ours, they only had amazing things to say. It gave me butterflies, and took me back to that amazing Estes Park venue. I of course then, had to know every other little detail about their love story.

This mama is from Michigan. Dad is from California. Mama moved to Colorado for a change, to become a Middle School Teacher. Dad went to Colorado State University, and loved Fort Collins so much he decided to call it home. They met one night at a local restaurant, and little did they know, it was meant to be. I have a huge smile on my face as I share this, as I love nothing more than a heartfelt love story.

These two welcomed their baby boy into the world on July 22nd. Only a few days prior to their 1st Anniversary. The perfect gift if you ask me. :) Joseph is a content, snuggly, laid back, and squeaky little man. He's perfect.
