It can be so easy to identify who we are by our profession. I was recently asked how I would describe myself to someone I didn't know, and of course, the first thing that came to mind was that I am a Fort Collins photographer. I'm a professional photographer who pours her heart and soul into everything photography day in and day out. I eat, sleep, and breath my job. However, among being a Fort Collins newborn photographer, baby, children's and family photographer, there is much more to know about me.
I am a lover. I'm a joker. I'm a worrier. I was born and raised in a small Wyoming town, where everyone knows everyone. I am the oldest of four, and absolutely love it. I grew up thinking cheesecake was a cake of actual cheese. I thought all sushi consisted of fish eggs. Both are now on the list of my favorite foods, amongst all pasta and Mexican food. I'm a freak when it comes to germs. My favorite color is white. I thought I would grow up to be an art teacher. I'm shy until I get to know you, then you will be my best friend at heart. I choose summer over winter. I love coffee, but don't forget the creamer. Take me to the lake, and I'll be the happiest. My favorite song will forever be 'Slide' by the Goo Goo Dolls. I enjoy reading a good book. I struggle when it comes to sharing my feelings. I'm a perfectionist. I'm a minimalist. I'm that crazy dog lady, overly obsessed with my golden retriever, Remi. I'm a runner. I think a good laugh can cure just about anything. I love the sun. I adore my fiancé, my high school sweet heart. We will be married on the 6th of September of 2015 in Estes Park, Colorado. I dream of being a mother someday. I enjoy going to the movies, but rarely ever get popcorn. I'm a big fan of the CBS hit, Survivor (I don't miss an episode). I have a family who loves and supports me no matter what. I'm horrible at anything to do with numbers. I believe that everything happens for a reason. I am a lover of God. I hope to see the world, but will forever live in Colorado. I hope to appreciate everyday. I believe I am the luckiest.
